Ian Smith or

Ian was born near Leicester England in 1952. His family moved south to Farnborough and he began playing in bands at the age of 15. Ian went to the same school as Alan and Dave and it was inevitable that they would eventually get together and form their first joint band 'Touchwood' in the mid 70's. Over the years Ian has played with some of the finest rock, soul and blues artists in the UK and has an impressive catalogue of deps and sessions to his credit. In recent years he has played with The Classics, Old Boy Network, Eezy, Lost Robert's Blues band and Soul Mates.

Ian plays a Music Man Stingray bass guitar through Peavey amplification.
