Dave Phelps (aka Tina, Ricky, Cliff) or  

(Also known as The Runt at the Front)

Dave was born in Aldershot Hampshire in 1949. His father was a well known entertainer with radio shows to his credit and Dave started appearing in shows with him at the age of 8. By the time he was 12 Dave was working under his own name appearing in shows and reviews before joining the memorable 'Amazing Bottle Band' and later forming the comedy/vocal duo 'Little & Littler'.

Dave's solo career has included appearances with Jimmy Saville and his TV debut trying to upstage Michael Barrymore (They cut that bit).

Bandwise Dave spent 6 years with 'Level 5' before forming Celebration, then fronting the 'Frank Allen Sound'. After that he fronted 'The Brian Allen Band' which became 'In The Red'.

Dave had long admired the musical prowess of Dave, Ian and Alan in 'Touchwood' and later 'Old Boy Network' and never missed the opportunity of a guest vocal spot with them. When offered the opportunity to form Dave had no hesitation.

Dave likes dressing up as a woman, and pretending he is Tina Turner.  We keep telling him he just ain't got the legs  The wig came from a yak which was humanely destroyed.
